((RL seemed to of just swept me off my feet and dragged me all the way to the Lakeshore where I had to deal with people not listening to me, getting heat rash and having to wait 15 minutes in line just to get a slice of pizza and my free drink.

She probably shouldn't of done it but she was more than able to take care of herself. It had been a long time since she had done anything that was Summons related, choosing to 'retire' of that role so she could focus on things more important for her. Then she had died and had been reborn on a world which she had a new life on with no memories of her past. Maybe it was a bit odd for her to go back to this now while she was pregnant but Nix just felt that she was needed. That and the boredom was starting to get a bit too much for her. Keeping busy by conducting experiments and doing research on the side was just a temporary measure. With Cid otherwise occupied with building his new airship and the daily going-ons in the nexus just not enough to entertain her, this was going to happen sooner or later.

Nix just hoped she didn't get in trouble for it.

Except for me and the little one here, the house is pretty much empty. Cid's off flying Scott to wherever but if I don't hear from him in a few days, I'll have to go and save their asses again.

I know my alternate or whatever she is has showed up in the nexus. We've been keeping distance. She's a bit freaked out that the people that she knew then have changed so much. Can't say that I blame her. I'm certainly not making things easier. I'm four months pregnant, for Hyne's sake. ~~It's bringing back a lot of memories. Painful ones~~
